Purpose:
The Green Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (GNDVI) is a powerful tool for assessing chlorophyll content and photosynthetic activity in crops. By analyzing reflected light in the green and near-infrared spectrum, GNDVI provides insights into plant vigor and overall health.
Observations:
High GNDVI values: Indicate lush, healthy vegetation with strong photosynthetic activity. These areas are likely experiencing optimal growth conditions.
Lower GNDVI values: May signal stress due to nutrient deficiencies, pest infestations, water stress, or disease. Early detection allows for timely intervention.
